The Department for Child Protection has 3 student houses in Perth for 36 country Aboriginal students who want to do their secondary school studies in Perth.

The houses are in:

• Mount Lawley (males)
  
• Kewdale (females)
  
• Subiaco (females)

Each house has a house parent to look after the students.
