Service Description: A central contact point, to assist homeless people to find crisis accommodation and to provide guidance to those seeking longer-term accommodation. Liaises with relevant agencies to access emergency accommodation and links clients to appropriate services.  Advises homeless clients on housing assistance options such as a Homeswest Bond Assistance Loan to access private rental accommodation; Wesley Homelink for assistance in identifying and securing accommodation (subject to eligibility criteria); Ruah Tenancy Support Service for clients who need support to maintain a private rental tenancy and, where appropriate, assists in determining eligibility for Homeswest accommodation. Does not provide emergency housing or assist with searching for housing for clients.
