Services for homeless adults and families

SAAP provides services for homeless single adults, couples without children and families.

Some services provide crisis or emergency accommodation for people who need somewhere to stay for the night.

Other services help people who have been homeless for a while find and maintain long term accommodation.

A number of day centres and meals services are funded to help people living rough and those on very low income.

Services work with customers to develop support plans to help them find ways of overcoming their immediate crisis, stabilising their lives and establishing themselves in the community.

Three lists of services are included:

Community Housing Coalition of Western Australia

SAAP services for homeless adults and families are represented by the Community Housing Coalition of Western Australia (CHCWA).

CHCWA is the peak representative and service organisation for Western Australian community housing providers. It provides representation and advocacy to member agencies as well as direct services such as training, computerised housing management tools, and implementation of the Western Australian Community Housing Code of Practice.
