Services for homeless young people

SAAP services provide accommodation and support for young people between 15 and 25 years of age.

Some services provide crisis or emergency accommodation for young people who need somewhere to stay for the night. Some services help young parents.

Other services help young people who have been homeless for a while to find and maintain long term accommodation.

There are also day centres and meals services to help people living rough and those on very low income.

Services work with customers to develop support plans to help them find ways of overcoming their immediate crisis, stabilising their lives and establishing themselves in the community.

Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia

SAAP Services for homeless young people are represented by the Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia (YACWA).

The aim of YACWA is to be a united, independent and active advocate for the non government youth sector serving the young people of Western Australia.
