Best Beginnings is a service for families of new infants.
Experienced home visitors provide support, advice, information, connections and practical help.
The program is structured according to your needs. The aim is to improve child health and wellbeing, parent and family functioning and social support networks.
You can get support from a range of professionals including nurses, teachers, social workers, and psychologists.
The Departments for Child Protection and of Health work together to make this program work.
You need to be referred to the program beofre birth or before your baby is 3months old. Visits can continue until the child is 2 years old.
