Regional Interagency Groups

The Ford Report also recommended the establishment of District Child Safety Coordinating Groups to ensure local integrated government response to vulnerable children and their families.

The Child Safety Directors’ Group has identified and met with existing regional interagency child safety groups to establish linkages and share information.

The Group will continue to maintain these links by attending their meetings and contacting them when district level child safety and family support issues arise.
