National Reconciliation Week 2006, 27 May–3 June marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of National Reconciliation Week. The theme for 2006 is Reconciliation: take the next step.

The
Western Australian Indigenous Women’s Congress (IWC) was established in response to the views expressed by Indigenous women across the state. The aim of the IWC is to promote the participation of Indigenous women at every level of government decision-making on issues affecting them, their families and communities.

Tips for Aboriginal Parents
There are booklets, videos, tipsheets and services for Aboriginal families, organisations and workers.

The Promoting Strong Indigenous Communities directory provides information about initiatives, projects and programs that strengthen communities and families to ultimately keep women and children safe.
