Generations Together: A Progress Report of the Western Australian Active Ageing Strategy - 2006 provides an update on the Active Ageing Strategy initiatives announced in March 2004.
Government agencies that partnered the Strategy report annually on the progress of these initiatives.
The 2006 report also highlights Active Ageing initiatives the Government has implemented in addition to those outlined in the Strategy.
The 2006 update reports on initiatives that come under one of the Strategy’s five key priority areas: health and wellbeing; employment and learning; community awareness and participation; protection and security; and planning and the built environment.
