Western Australian Seniors and the Law - An Information Booklet

Seniors and the Law

Helping Western Australian seniors make informed decisions on legal matters is the aim of the 'Western Australian Seniors and the Law' booklet.

Launched in October 2003, and now released in July 2007, in it's second version the booklet can be a valuable starting point for seniors wanting to know more about the law, their rights and their obligations.

The booklet contains information specific to seniors on issues relating to debts and guarantors, elder abuse and violence, different types of accommodation, family law for grandparents, resolving disputes, decision making and volunteering.

The booklet was developed by the Department for Community Development, Office for Seniors' Interests and Volunteering in partnership with the Law Society of Western Australia.
