The Department for Community Development and the Western Australian Council of Social Services (WACOSS) have been working together to build the capacity of not for profit organisations with the latest in Recruitment Screening and Selection policies and practices.
"Employright" provides an effective system of Recruitment Screening and Selection, and allows WA organisations to develop and maintain a harassment free workplace culture.
The program is aimed at assisting frontline managers with the knowledge and skills to identify and fulfil their contractual and legal obligations regarding potential and current paid and unpaid staff, clients and stakeholders within not for profit organsiations.
Support services are provided including:
- Full day training seminar, including a manual and CD Rom.
- Resource Pack (written and electronic support resources).
- Employright helpline 9-5pm daily.
This program is free for Department for Community Development funded services and can be accessed by other agencies on a fee paying basis. Training is being provided in various metropolitan and country locations. Full details and a booking form are on the WACOSS website at: http://www.wacoss.org.au/
