Volunteer Resource Centres
Become a member organisation of your local Volunteer Resource Centre who work specifically to match volunteers with volunteer seeking organsations. 

GoVolunteer
Register with GoVolunteer, Volunteering Australia's volunteer recruitment website, which provides free Internet advertising to not-for-profit community organisations seeking volunteers.
 
Contact your local council 
Many  local councils have regular newsletters and publications about community organisations and activities.

Post an advertisement at your local library, city council notice board, supermarket notice board.

Speak with other community groups about how they recruit volunteers.

Meet your Local Media 
They may wish to profile the work of your organisation and volunteer program.

Get involved in National Volunteer Week
Held in May each year, National Volunteer Week is a whole week of information and events dedicated to recognising and promoting the wonderful world of volunteering!
