The Office for Women’s Interests (the Office) values the contribution of the community sector to improving the lives of women in the Western Australian community.

Community consultations recognising the rich diversity of women in the community is a key approach of OWP that ensures policies, programs and services are responsive to the needs of women.

The Office works with women’s groups, peak women’s groups, community organisations, unions and government organisations to support better outcomes for women and increase their involvement in policy development.

Through these consultations, OWP provides up-to-date information, research, issues, trends and statistics to inform and encourage dialogue among participants.
