National Women & Employment Survey
Victorian Women’s Information Referral Exchange (WIRE)
Women’s Information Services have developed a survey to find out what women know about their workplace conditions; what barriers women are facing in entering the workforce and what assists women to enter the workforce. 
Information is also sought on the impact of the global financial crisis on women’s employment conditions and what information would be assist women to be more informed about employment matters from a gendered perspective.

A final report with recommendations will be tabled at the National Women’s Advisors Meeting.  Click here to complete the seven minute survey.

Coffee Mornings
Birthrites: Healing After Caesarean

Coffee mornings twice every month for women who have had a previous caesarean to talk about their experience with other women who have experienced the same.   The objective of the group is to facilitate healing in women who need to debrief from their caesarean birth.   Information and support is provided for women to make informed choices about subsequent births,  including information on VBAC and planning an empowered repeat caesarean.

For carers and parents of a loved one who has an eating disorder.  Each week a professional will cover medical, emotional, alternative and personal issues associated with eating disorders. Other self-help programs available include Anorexia/Bulimia for women over 18, Over-eating/Binge Eating, and Step Down Program.

Exploring practical and innovative solutions to how criminal justice is being improved for women, how police and law enforcement services respond to their female employees, and how policing and criminal justice responds to women in the community.
