Coffee Mornings
Birthrites: Healing After Caesarean

Coffee mornings twice every month for women who have had a previous caesarean to talk about their experience with other women who have experienced the same.   The objective of the group is to facilitate healing in women who need to debrief from their caesarean birth.   Information and support is provided for women to make informed choices about subsequent births,  including information on VBAC and planning an empowered repeat caesarean.

Exhibition - Vessels of Hope
Fremantle Prison
Vessels of Hope is an exhibition by Tasmanian artist, Christina Henri and examines the convict way of life,  commemorating their contribution to Australia through the metaphors of bonnets and vessels. The handmade bonnets featured are symbolic of convict women who were transported to Australia from 1787 to 1853.  Each boat and bonnet commemorates the life of a convict.  Although created from the same templates, each is uniquely decorated, forming a personal tribute to these individuals.
