Business and Professional Women (BPW) Joondalup
Monthly Dinner Meeting
BPW is an international organisation that educates and informs women, undertaking research and projects aimed at making a positive difference to women. At a local level BPW offers great opportunities for developing social and professional networks for women of all ages. Every month we indulge in a lively few hours of eating, listening to an inspiring speaker and lots of chat (officially referred to as 'networking'). We welcome women of all ages to come along and join us. For recent arrivals in Perth it's a really easy way to meet a bunch of friendly, fun loving women.                      
Time: 6.30pm for 7.00pm start.
Venue: Joondalup Function Centre, City of Joondalup Buildings, Boas Ave, Joondalup (same level as library).

One of the main challenges facing young professionals today is balancing the different areas of their life. This seminar series aims to help young professionals learn ways they can develop life balance goals.

Brent Dancer, a busy professional and hockey player on the Australian Development Squad for the Beijing Olympics, with keen organizational skills.

Eric Harrison of the Perth Meditation Centre will outline techniques to meditate quickly and calm the mind.

Jenny Wallace, the WACA Women’s Cricket Officer, plays with the WA Women’s cricket team- Western Fury, and Manager of the WA State Under-19's team.

As our population ages, more people are seeking to prepare for when they may be unable to make decisions for themselves by completing an Enduring Power of Attorney.

The Office of the Public Advocate (OPA) extends an invitation to legal practitioners, accountants, financial planners, aged and palliative care professionals for training on the technicalities, legislative requirements and pitfalls in setting up an EPA on behalf of a client.
