Cultural Diversity Policy & Strategic Framework 2006-2009
This policy recognises that all people in the Western Australian community who need, and are eligible for, the specialist types of services provided by the Department should find them accessible and responsive to their individual circumstances, including their cultural and religious identity and language. A summary of the policy will be available in 18 languages.
Extended Family Care Framework
The Extended Family Care Framework presents the Department’s role and responsibility in relation to extended family care and is presented within the context of the Department’s broader statutory responsibilities for promoting and building the safety and wellbeing of children and young people, their families and communities.
