To raise awareness of the work of the department, and our valued partners, marketing and publicity guidelines have been developed.

Awareness of, and support for projects and community organisations is important in our continuing ability to sponsor, fund or provide grants.

The guidelines explain the recognition, marketing and publicity requirements for all projects that receive a grant or sponsorship, or community organisations that are funded by the department.

We are keen to support Western Australia build strong, vibrant communities and will continue to work with the community to achieve this goal.

Youth Development Holiday Program
The Youth Development Holiday Program provides funding to enable activities to be provided by community organisations for young people of secondary school age during the school holiday periods.

Western Australian Grants for Women
The Department for Communities, Office for Women’s Policy’s (OWP) Western Australian Grants for Women Program 2008 is open for applications. The program aims to strengthen the social and economic wellbeing of women and increase their participation in the community.
